Tons of Teacher Resources
www.paragraphpunch.com
How many of you teach students how to write paragraphs? Ever feel
frustrated? This website is your Savior. It guides students step by
step on how to write a paragraph. It gives you a topic and then
gives helpful hints on how to start the paragraph. The website asks
a series of questions, takes notes for you and then you write the
paragraph. I used this site during student teaching, not for the
paragraph activity, but because the topics given by the website make
good journal topics for morning work.
www.educationworld.com
My favorite place to search for lesson plans! Search this website
for lesson plan ideas or worksheets on any subject for any grade
level. This was my favorite website for spelling games. I also used
it when teaching on the Civil War.

Ho! Ho! Ho! Christmas will be here before you know it. This site
gives you a Christmas word search, flashcards, and even the song
lyrics of “The Grinch”. My favorite activity is the Letter to
Santa Template. It allows students to list what they want and also
give Santa three reasons as to why they deserve their gifts. This
site also offers other lesson plans, games, and worksheets.
http://www.gcisd.net/techlessons/2ndGrade/Writing/Holidays
This is a web page that lists four Christmas ideas for writing.
Students can practice writing letters to Santa and addressing

ornament looks like. Story starters using the phrases from the book
The Night Before Christmas can also be found on this page.
