Ruston High School senior Ty Malone is employed as student worker at Lincoln Center School. He was given the opportunity to nominate and submit the name of a person he thought was deserving of the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Award. He did not hesitate to nominate Doris Lewis. And not to anyone's surprise, she was the recipient of the award. The award was presented by Jack Humphries (state chairman for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve) to principal Doris Lewis during a school-wide assembly. School board and and community members were present. Hats off to Mrs. Lewis for a job well done
