Lincoln Parish Early Childhood Center

A Quality Education for A Quality Life

Welcome

I would like to welcome you to the ECC.  This will be a very exciting and educational experience for pre-school children.  Each member of our staff is dedicated to providing the best positive learning environment possible for every child.  You, as parents, will play a major role in helping your child reach the maximum of his or her potential.  We, at the LPECC, welcome parental involvement, and we look forward to a relationship of participation and cooperation between school and home.

Again, welcome to the new LPECC!

IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENTS:

PLEASE BE SURE YOUR STUDENT IS UP-TO-DATE ON ALL REQUIRED IMMUNIZATIONS!

This is important for all students, however, it is critical for new students to the parish, and students going into Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st, and 6th grades. Failure to comply with the immunization requirements as set by LA State Law will result in your child’s exclusion from school until such requirements are met. DO NOT WAIT! Past years have demonstrated that parents/ guardians who wait until just before the new school year starts have had difficulty getting appointments when needed. In addition, clinics and doctors' offices often run out of vaccine.

TAKING MEDICATIONS AT SCHOOL:

Will your student require medications while at school?  In general, all medications given at school are limited to those which cannot be given before or after school and must have a doctor’s order.  Please click on the "capsule" to learn more about the requirements set down by the Louisiana State Law (R.S. 17:436, Act 87) and the Lincoln Parish School Board concerning medication administration in public schools.
