Message from the Principal

Ruston Elementary is a Pre-k-5 school that is committed to helping  students achieve their academic best. Our faculty and staff have a very positive spirit and are willing to work with parents to help their child have a successful year. Working with parents and community, the students at Ruston Elementary receive a quality education. We invite everyone to stop by our fine school.

Ruston Elementary is having a very exciting year.  Our community has offered so many resources to help our school.  In addition to our wonderful new building and newly remodeled old buildings, we have had many community readers come in to offer their expertise in our school.  We have 24 volunteer readers that come at least once a week to read to our students.  Our students and teachers are also excited about The Power of Retelling and Strategies that Work.  As I visit the classrooms, I know that our students are being taught by teachers who love and care for them and are receiving the highest quality education.  We invite you to stop by anytime and see education at its best at RES.
