TEACHER OF THE YEAR!!

We are very pleased to announce the Ruston Elementary School Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Mary Wilks Kilgore.  Mrs. Kilgore has been a shining light in the classroom for students and parents alike.  She is an inspiration to faculty and continues to demonstrate the qualities that are the reason Ruston Elementary is the outstanding school that it is.  We are proud of our students, parents, our wonderful core of teachers, and Mrs. Kilgore for their outstanding contributions to our school.

Student of the Year!!

By a committee of her teachers and peers, Brianna Currie, 5th grader, has been chosen as "Student of the Year" for Ruston Elementary.  She represents everything we strive to maintain in our students.  Brianna continues to make the AB Honor Roll, and is one of the few chosen to serve on the Ruston Elementary Leadership Team.  She also plays on the RES Basketball Team.  Brianna Currie is a joy to all who know her, and we are grateful to have her, and children like her, in our school!
