Substitute Teacher/Paraprofessional Training Sign-up

The Lincoln Parish School Board hereby notifies you that in order to become a substitute teacher/paraprofessional or to remain on the substitute list for the 2019-2020 academic school year, you will be required to attend substitute training before you will be allowed to serve in the schools.


DATE: Thursday, October 24, 2019

LOCATION: Ruston High School New Tech Building, located on the Boulevard.

TIME: 5:00pm - 8:00pm


New Substitutes

If you are a new substitute and you have not completed your application, Background Check and Sexual Misconduct screenings in Frontline, you will not be allowed to attend this training. To complete a new application, go to Lincoln Parish Online Application.

Current Substitutes

If you have been on the substitute list, but you have not subbed in the last 2 years, you will be required to complete a new application, Background Check and Sexual Misconduct screenings in Frontline. 

If you miss this training, another training will be offered at mid-term; however, you will not be able to substitute until you have completed this required training. If you do not wish to remain on the sub list, please reply to this email.

It will be your sole responsibility to keep your contact information up-to-date in your substitute profile in Frontline in order to be properly notified of work opportunities.
