LEAP parade is tomorrow starting at 8:30. Please see the attached link for the directions on how to line up. To minimize the congestion on Walker Road, please turn from Hwy 80 onto East Walker Road across from Annie Road. Come around the curve and stage facing North on Walker Road on the side of the road closest to the playground. You may stage there and set up for the parade.

Field day events are canceled this week.
Due to weather, we are canceling field day events on Thursday and Friday. We will reschedule these events.
We are waiting to make a decision about Friday's leap parade.

Level Up tutorning is Monday and Tuesday this week.
We do not have it on Wednesday.

If you are attending the solar eclipse today please park along Walker Road by the playground fence or in the staff parking lot. Overflow parking will be at at church. Do not park on both sides of a Walker Road to help the flow of traffic.

Solar Eclipse
Monday- Students can bring a blanket to take outside for the solar eclipse viewing. We have an optional $3 snocone if you would like to send money with your child Monday morning. Parents are invited from 1-2:00pm. In the event that it is raining, we will have activities in the classroom for students only.
Field Day & Aggie Mile-
The Aggie Mile will be run before each grade levels's field day time.

K-2 parents, a reading challenge is being sent home in your child's folder. This is optional but prizes will be awarded.
The weather is definitely not cooperating with our Donut Dash this year. We are going to have to postpone one last time. We are rescheduling to be on the same day as field day.
April 11- PreK-2nd grade will have field day and donut dash all at CES.
April 12- 3rd-5th will have field day and donut dash all at CES.
We will send field day and donut dash times home after spring break. They will be morning events.
We appreciate all that have donated and helped to make this year's race a big success already.

The race will be at CHS track.
Parents are welcome to take pictures and cheer on our students, but may not run on the track. We are looking forward to celebrating our students.

Donut dash t-shirts were passed out to students today. They will be sent home today or tomorrow if you ordered one. We are watching the weather for Friday and will make a decision tomorrow on if we need to postpone the race. Also permission slips should have been sent home today but if you didn't get one, it will be in folders tomorrow. We want everyone going so please look for those and return them asap.
Donut Dash Update:
We have met our $20,000 goal, WAY TO GO!!!
We made some changes to student rewards because spring pictures are also on Thursday. We will have pajama day on Wednesday, March 13 and any shoe day on Thursday, March 14.
We are watching the weather and will make a decision on Thursday, March 14 if we are going to have to postpone the dash because of rain. If we postpone it, we will have the Donut Dash at CHS track on Friday, March 22
